From a JPEG to whats low
The picture is not the product. The shortage list is. The photo stays if you need to check.

The camera sends a JPEG. It does not decide what is missing. That list is built later, in the dashboard, from the picture — empty facings, thin stock, what to order. Until that list is live in software, the landing only shows the story. The file from the shelf is still just an image.
For a distributor that is the job: skip the visitor, keep the photo when the list is not enough. JPEG in. Whats low out. The aisle does not need another person with a clipboard.
